Though they won't be in service until late 2013, the Toronto Transit Commission is giving a sneak peek at it's brand new next generation streetcars. The mockup will be on display from Saturday, Nov. 12 until Tuesday Nov. 15 at the TTC's Hillcrest complex at Bathurst Street and Davenport road.

The TTC's new streetcar will feature a 100 per cent low-floor, meaning no steps and it will be fully accessible to people in wheelchairs or who require other mobility assistance.

For those who have suffered on streetcars during heat waves, the new versions 'will have air conditioning,' said TTC spokesperson Brad Ross.
