THE CANADIAN PRESS / Scott MacDonald When Toronto's SkyDome opened in 1989, it was the envy of the baseball world - a state-of-the-art facility that continually packed in more than 50,000 fans a game. As MLB teams starting building more tradition ball parks, the concrete multi-purpose monster grew obsolete and is now one of the oldest stadiums in Major League Baseball. The ballpark, now known as Rogers Centre, turns 20 this week.
