TORONTO - Premier Dalton McGuinty says Ontario will try to cash in on India's lucrative film and infrastructure industry when his government delegation sets out on a trade mission to the country this week.

McGuinty says the 17-day trip will help Ontario drum up business with a country he calls an "economic powerhouse'' that is only expected to keep growing.

The province will focus on getting a larger cut of India's huge "Bollywood'' film industry.

McGuinty says India is also preparing to invest billions in infrastructure projects over the next decade and that Ontario businesses could benefit from that boom.

The delegation will also be promoting Ontario as a destination for skilled immigrants who want to work in research and innovation.

The delegation leaves for India on Wednesday.
