A two-month undercover police sting at a Pickering fitness club has led to a number of charges and the seizure of more than $90,000 worth of steroids, cocaine, narcotic painkillers and the date rape drug.

Among those charged is 32-year-old Robert Scott Milne, of Ajax, who is a nutritionist at the Extreme Fitness club on Pickering Way.

Durham police said they received information last month about illegal steroids being sold to club members.

After an investigation, the drug enforcement unit found other drugs were being sold, including Percocet and GHB, the date rape drug.

Officers executed three search warrants in Bowmanville and Ajax, which also netted almost $5,000 in cash.

Police would not say if the steroids or narcotics had been offered for sale inside the gym, but say management or the club was never under investigation.

The facility's manager told CTV News he was unaware police officers were attending his gym for two months.

The three others charged are Jason Pineau, 22, Patrick Yoshida, 22, and Austen Drysdale, 20.

Milne also faces various extortion charges.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Gang Enforcement Unit or Drug Enforcement Unit at 905 579-1520 ext. 5803. Anonymous tips can be made to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
