The main landing gear of an Air Canada Jazz plane collapsed while on a runway at Toronto's Pearson International Airport on Sunday afternoon, but none of the 37 passengers or crew were injured.
The aircraft, flight AC8911, arrived from Moncton, N.B., at about 12:30 p.m.
The cause of the mechanical failure is not yet known, said Lorrie McKee, a spokeswoman from the Greater Toronto Airports Authority.
"The Transportation Safety Board is investigating," McKee told CTV Newsnet.
The affected runway was closed.
