Police say a gang of youths has committed at least nine robberies over the past two weeks in the Christie-Pitts and Dufferin Grove area.

Some of the victims have been beaten and taken to hospital for treatment.

The group -- made up of seven or more youths -- approaches victims and robs them of their valuables including iPods, laptops, cell phones, cash and pieces of identification.

Most of the attacks took place between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m.
