Doctors are treating a teenager for gunshot wounds and police are searching for at least three suspects, after a daylight shooting in the northwest area of the city.

An unidentified 19-year-old man was shot three times in the parking lot of a housing complex on Shoreham Drive, in the Jane and Sheppard area.

The incident happened at about 5:15 p.m. on Monday.

The victim was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital, where doctors said his injures are not life-threatening.

The suspected gunman fled the scene, reportedly running into a ravine around Black Creek. Witnesses described him as tall, skinny, and wearing a green T-shirt and blue jeans.

At least two other suspects ran in the same direction.
