ORILLIA, Ont - Provincial police have now charged a total of 18 people in an ongoing investigation into an alleged international casino cheat team.

Fifteen Ontario residents, several of them employees of Casino Rama, outside Orillia, Ont., were charged in the scam in May.

Police allege casino dealers were recruited to predetermine the outcome of card games.

Three more people were arrested and charged Wednesday with fraud over $5,000, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and cheat at play.

Two of the three were still working at Casino Rama.

Toronto residents Ngan Thi Phuong Tran, 27, Nguyen Chung, 30, and Tai Van Duong, 47, were charged and are scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 26.
