A woman suffered critical injuries Tuesday morning after she was involved in a car accident with a schoolbus filled with children.
Several children were treated for cuts and bruises at the accident scene north of Barrie but their injuries were minor.
The woman, who was driving the car, was airlifted to a hospital in Toronto after colliding with the bus on what was reported to be an icy road.
The accident happened just before 9 a.m. on Line 5 off Highway 11 as the bus was heading towards Guthrie Public School in Simcoe County to drop the children off.
