REGINA - Although autumn officially began just three weeks ago, winter is making an appearance in southern Saskatchewan.

Forecasters predict Estevan will get up to 15-centimetres of snow by tonight.

And they expect up to 10-centimetres to fall on Regina, Moose Jaw, Assiniboia, and Weyburn.

Saskatchewan is being hit by the northern edge of a storm that's dumping 30-centimetres of snow on neighbouring Montana.

It's a very different story in southern and eastern Ontario, which is basking in summer-like temperatures.

Today's high in Windsor is forecast to hit 28, which would be one degree below the record for October 12th.

From London to Cornwall temperatures are expected to range from the low-to-mid twenties.
