Dozens face gambling-related charges in Woodbridge

WOODBRIDGE, Ont. Forty-three people have been charged with gambling-related offences following a raid in Woodbridge, north of Toronto.
York Regional police and the provincial police organized crime gambling unit made the arrests at Lethal "Q"Billiards and Cafe.
Arash Azadpeyma, 32, of Thornhill, Ont., and Carmine Sorella, 40, of Newmarket, Ont., are charged with keeping a common gaming house.
The remaining 41 people were charged with being found in a common gaming house and are all scheduled to appear in court on December 3.
As part of the investigation, officers seized $12,250 in cash and $9,000 in gambling equipment.
In separate raids, four people were arrested and charged with gambling offences at three Toronto businesses and a home in Maple.
