A woman managed to take a cab to an east Toronto hospital after being shot early Sunday morning.

The 12:30 a.m. shooting happened outside a Gabby's Kingston Road, located at 980 Kingston Rd., which is just west of Victoria Park Avenue.

A fight broke out in the business then spilled into the street.

Someone shot the woman in the upper abdomen. She took a cab to Toronto East General Hospital on Coxwell Avenue, but doctors had her transferred to Sunnybrook hospital.

She is in critical but stable condition after undergoing survery.

A senior officer at 55 Division told ctvtoronto.ca said he had no further information on the case and couldn't say if investigators have interviewed the woman yet.

No arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified yet.

Almost two hours later, a home near Martin Grove Road and Steeles Avenue had a bullet go through a wall. No one was injured.

Three shell casings were found outside the home, but police have no suspects.
