LONDON, Ont. - Four peace advocates occupied a local Conservative MP's office in London, Ont., for about three hours on Friday demanding the party condemn Israel's actions in Gaza.

Protesters from a group called People for Peace had said they wouldn't leave Ed Holder's office until he publicly denounced Israel's military action.

David Heap says the four of them met with Holder after they occupied his office, and he told them he would have to consult with his caucus colleagues.

Heap says police were called a few hours later and the four were escorted from the building and released without charges.

He says peace advocates have gone through regular channels, such as writing letters and holding rallies, and now need to take new measures.
