TORONTO - The Boston Bruins are getting an unlikely endorsement from Ontario's premier.
Dalton McGuinty says he's rooting for the Montreal Canadiens and would love to see the Habs win the Stanley Cup.
He says it would be especially meaningful on the team's 100th anniversary, and it would be great to see the trophy back in Canada.
But McGuinty says if he had to place a bet, he'd put his money on the Bruins, who are playing the Canadiens in the first round of the NHL playoffs.
Boston, the top seed in the Eastern Conference, beat the Habs 4-2 Thursday night in Game 1 of their best-of-seven series.
