Toronto police are investigating an overnight bar brawl that left six people injured.

Staff Sgt. Karen Smythe told ctvtoronto.ca that police were called to a bar on Danforth Road, near Birchmount Road, for a reported fight around 3 a.m.

When police arrived at the scene, they found six injured parties.

"Some had gunshot wounds and some had stab wounds," Smythe said.

"They were all taken to the hospital and treated. At this point and time, we think they are all going to survive their injuries."

Smythe said one suspect has been arrested, though police are still investigating the circumstances of the apparent brawl.
