Police are investigating a stabbing in the city's east end Tuesday after one person was sent to hospital.
The victim was on Gerrard Street, just east of Greenwood Avenue when the incident took place at around 5 a.m.
Police say the man suffered serious injuries when he was stabbed in the upper torso. However, he is expected to recover from his injuries.
Authorities believe the suspect and the victim are known to each other.
Investigators are also looking into a separate stabbing incident that happened Monday night in the city's west end.
Two teens were rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries after being stabbed during a fight at an Esso gas station in the Jane Street and Sheppard Avenue area.
A 16-year-old suspect has been taken into custody in that case.
