Two shootings and a stabbing in different parts of the city sent a total of four people to hospital.
Shots fired between two vehicles in the Dixon Road and Islington Avenue at 5 a.m. Tuesday left two men with non-life-threatening injuries, Toronto police Staff Sgt. John McGown of 23 Division told ctvtoronto.ca.
At least one of those victims is still in Sunnybrook hospital, but one may have been released already, he said.
McGown said the victims are not co-operating with police yet, adding they have no suspects so far.
At 1957 Kennedy Ave., a man took a bullet to the leg during an incident in the Tropical Sunset bar.
Staff Sgt. Gary Tutchener of 41 Division said the victim has since been released from hospital, but wouldn't say if he's co-operating with investigators.
Police are seeking a black male of unknown age, about 5'11" tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black hoodie and black pants, the officer said.
A third man was stabbed during an altercation at the Sound Academy in the Polson Street area.
Staff Sgt. Jim Gibson of 51 Division told ctvtoronto.ca that as the bar was starting to empty at 2:30 a.m., security staff approached two paid-duty police officers to say that someone had been attacked.
They found the victim on one of the rooms. He had suffered three stab wounds, suffering a punctured lung. Paramedics took the victim to St. Michael's hospital where he remains, Gibson said.
Police are still investigating, but they believe up to five people were involved, he said.
