Toronto police have issued alerts in a number of sexual assaults around the city, involving victims ranging in age from 13 to 82.
Police are seeking a man who has committed sexual assaults on TTC buses in the Kennedy Avenue and Finch Avenue East area. They date back to November 2008, but the latest occurred on Sept. 17.
"It is alleged that three separate girls were approached, by the same man, while riding a crowded TTC bus on the Kennedy 43 bus route. The suspect would sexually assault the girls, then leave the bus and walk away," police said.
The victims range in age from 13 to 17, they said, adding there may be more victims.
"The suspect is described as brown, in his 40s, 5'3"-5'7", with short, black hair and was clean-shaven. He was last seen wearing a golf shirt with two-tone blue, horizontal stripes."
Police have released a security camera image of the suspect. They ask anyone with information about this case to call 416-808-4200.
In another case, police say that about 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a man approached an 82-year-old woman in a park in the Lawrence Avenue East and Rouge Hill Drive area.
"The man dragged the woman to a secluded area and sexually assaulted her," they said in a news release.
"He is described as brown, 40, 5'7"-5'8", black eyes, clean-shaven, with straight, black, short hair. He was last seen wearing a beige baseball cap, blue jeans, beige sweater, white T-shirt and white sneakers."
In a third case, police said a man ran up to a 32-year-old woman walking in the College Street and Dufferin Street area and sexually assaulted her. He was last seen running towards the Dufferin Mall.
"The suspect is described as white, in his early 20s, 6', with a lean muscular build. He was wearing a dark-colour fitted top with white writing across the front, faded black jeans and white running shoes."
