Police seek driver in connection with homicide victim

Police are looking for the driver and or occupants of a silver SUV in connection with a Nov. 4 homicide in the Annex.
"Witnesses report seeing, on November 1, 2009, between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., in the Bloor Street/Avenue Road area, an altercation between a man with two dogs and a man driving a silver SUV," Toronto Police said Friday in a news release.
"Investigators would like to speak with the driver and/or the occupants of the vehicle."
The victim in the case is Gerald Robert Brown, 67. He was found dead in his home at 114 Bedford Rd. Neighbours had described him as a quiet, stable man who walked his dogs in the neighbourhood.
An autopsy had found Brown died of a neck wound.
Police arrested James Chalaturnyk, 33 and charged him with second-degree murder on Nov. 6.
