MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Peel Police say they've made an arrest in connection with the murder of a 38-year-old Mississauga man last weekend.

Last Sunday, police were called to a shopping plaza in the Malton area where they found Richard Egan Stewart suffering from a knife related injury.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police said Thursday say they have arrested 55-year-old Carol Martin in relation to the murder.

They say Martin will make an appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Friday where he will be formally charged with second degree murder.

Police say the investigation into Peel Region's 21st homicide of the year is continuing and more arrests are expected.
