Toronto police have released the identity of the city’s third homicide victim of the year.

John “Chin” Suk was brutally beaten inside a home on Cameron Street, located in the city’s West Queen West neighbourhood, on Sunday.

An autopsy revealed that 43-year-old Suk died from a blunt impact injury to his head.

The man’s roommate was arrested at the scene and charged with second-degree murder.

But despite the quick arrest, homicide investigators say they still need answers to many questions, including the motive behind the killing.

Police say they have little information about the victim. He was estranged from his family.
