TORONTO - A 46-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in a stabbing death Wednesday in downtown Toronto.

Police confirm the victim is 51-year-old Larisa Belekova, who was the manager of a halfway house where the stabbing occurred.

Police have charged 46-year-old Roble Nour Adam of Toronto with second-degree murder and he is scheduled to appear in court today.

Belekova was found by police with life-threatening stab wounds shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Tenants says she was a married mother of two and was stabbed in the basement office of the home.
