TORONTO - "America's Next Top Model" winner Adrianne Curry showed off her glam-geek side Friday as she arrived at Toronto Comic Con with her husband, "Brady Bunch" star Christopher Knight.
"I'm a huge comic book fan -- everything sci-fi and geeky," the brunette beauty, decked out in a costume from the film "A Clockwork Orange," gushed in an interview on the first day of the three-day pop-culture convention.
"I think if you play 'World of Warcraft' more than two hours a day, you're probably a nerd," she said, rhyming off a long list of levels she achieved in the game and then stopping herself: "God, I'm embarrassed!"
Dozens of celebrities are set to attend this weekend's Toronto Comic Con, part of a North American tour run by New York-based publisher Wizard Entertainment. Also on the docket is Jon Dalton, a.k.a. Jonny Fairplay of "Survivor," Gil Gerard and Erin Gray of "Buck Rogers" fame, and Canadian "Caprica" stars Magda Apanowicz and Luciana Carro.
"Ghostbusters" star Ernie Hudson also dropped by Friday to meet fans and sign autographs in a showroom filled with hundreds of vendors selling everything from comic books to toys and video games.
"I just met one of my youngest 'Ghostbusters' fans ever," said Hudson after being approached by a 2 1/2-year-old girl wearing a "Ghostbusters" costume and carrying a plush Slimer toy made by her mother.
Hudson was also paying homage to the film with his attire: a black T-shirt with the "Ghostbusters" logo and the words "Winston Rules," a nod to his character.
Curry was dressed as Alex DeLarge from "A Clockwork Orange" -- white, full-body leotard, fake eyelashes, codpiece and all. She didn't have the cane because she couldn't get it through customs, she said.
"It's not always the most comfortable of costumes," said the winner of the first season of "Top Model."
"You've got eye irritation, chafing in the inner thighs, but it's fun."
Knight and Curry -- who had their own reality series called "My Fair Brady" -- have attended several pop-culture conventions around the U.S. together.
On Friday, the two shared a booth as they met fans and signed photographs of themselves.
"I find it most unique that here I am with Brady pictures and there's my wife, naked in Playboy," quipped Knight, who played Peter Brady on the wholesome 1970s TV series.
"It's like, we have different fan bases and we have our fans together, so we have a large breadth that we appeal to."
Organizers expect up to 20,000 people to attend the convention, many of who will likely be male, predicted Curry.
"The male-female ratio here is out of control. For every one chick there's 20 dudes," she said.
"I always tell my friends who are ... single: if you want a successful, good guy, come to the freakin' Comic Con with me, I will hook you up with an aerospace engineer in two seconds."
