BURLINGTON, Ont. - A CN freight train has derailed in Burlington Ont., and the accident will likely impact Toronto-bound train commuters for several hours.

No injuries or major damage are reported in accident, just west of the Appleby GO station (near Guelph Line and the QEW).

GO says it will be reduced to one track, so passengers on the Lakeshore West line can expect delays.

All four Hamilton trips will make all stops, but all remaining GO trains will originate and terminate at the Appleby station.

GO buses will be used to provide service between Aldershot and Burlington to Appleby GO Station.

GO says Lakeshore East passengers may also experience some delays as a result of the derailment.
