A woman involved in one of the worst parking jobs ever captured on video has pleaded guilty and fined in connection with the incident last fall that left two vehicles damaged.

Tripta Kaushal, 62, of Richmond Hill uttered her plea to one count of failing to report -- a Highway Traffic Act offence -- during an appearance before the Ontario Court of Justice on Tuesday.

Justice Simon C. Armstrong fined her $500, prohibited her from driving between 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and placed her on six months probation, according to a York Regional Police news release.

Kaushal must also pay restitution to those whose vehicles she damaged.

The incident occurred at about 11 a.m. on Oct. 22, 2009.

A dark-blue BMW X5 sport utility vehicle entered a parking lot of a commercial fitness facility at 8281 Yonge St. in Thornhill.

While attempting to park, it lurched forward, climbing up the hoods of a Hyundai Elantra and a Dodge Neon.

The vehicle then fled the scene, leaving the owners of the two cars to discover the damage.

On Oct. 28, one of the victims told police that he believed the suspected BMW had returned to the same lot.

"As a result of investigation and with the assistance of video surveillance footage of the incident retrieved from the fitness centre, officers arrested Ms. Kaushal without incident," police said.
