TORONTO - Canadians will have a shot at the country's largest-ever lottery prize total this Friday -- $70 million.

There was no winner in last Friday's Lotto Max draw, so the jackpot remains at the maximum of $50 million.

Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. spokeswoman Sarah Kiriliuk says it will be the fourth time that amount is being offered as a jackpot.

However, she says the number of Maxmillions draws will rise to 20 separate $1 million prizes -- up from the five offered last Friday.

That makes a grand total of $70 million in prizes up for grabs.

The Maxmillions draws are triggered when the Lotto Max jackpot hits $50 million.
