A pair of Ontario dart fanatics are attempting to set a world record for the longest-ever dart game this weekend.

Paul O'Shaughnessy has joined up with long-time pal Lenny McNevin to set the record. The pair are also using the drive to raise cash for a good cause.

The pair are dueling it out at the Canadian Corps Veterans Association branch number 42 in Oshawa. Any funds they raise will go towards the veterans' branch, which is in financial difficulty.

The current world record is 30 hours and seven minutes. The pair want to play for more than 32 hours, which would put them in the Guinness Book of World Records.
