A vehicle has driven into the glass doors of an entrance at Bayview Village Shopping Centre, leaving one person injured.
The incident occurred about 3:30 p.m. on Friday at the mall, which is located at Bayview Avenue and Sheppard Avenue East in North York.
For reasons that aren't yet known, a male driving an SUV went straight into the doors in front of a Scotiabank branch, rather than turning left or right.
As that happened, the vehicle struck an older woman, police say.
Images from the CTV News helicopter showed the vehicle to still be in the mall as of 4 p.m.
Police have no details on the woman's condition or any information available about the driver.
