The Silver Cross medal was presented to the sister of a soldier who was killed in the Second World War Sunday.
The medal was initially presented to the mother of Gordon Samuel Lewis after he died in battle but she misplaced it years later,
Lewis' sister, Dorothy Brownrigg, applied for a replacement which was presented to her Sunday—the 60th anniversary of her brother's death—by MPP Pierre Polievre and the Osgoode Legion.
