A 55-year-old man has been found dead of a gunshot wound in the Finch Avenue and Weston Road area of northwest Toronto.
Police responded to a call of a shooting inside one of the units of a strip mall on 2400 Finch Ave. W. at around 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday night.
When they arrived, they found the man with a gunshot wound to his body and no vital signs. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Jagtal Singh Kular, of Toronto.
An autopsy is planned for either Wednesday or Thursday but has yet to be scheduled.
Police are not releasing details about who reported the shooting. They say a team of homicide investigators is on the scene to complete the investigation.
Police say for now, they have no suspect and the motive for the shooting remains unclear.
