A double stabbing in Brampton is now being called a domestic murder suicide by investigators.
Police were first called to a home near Hurontario St. and Steeles Ave. W. on April 1 where they discovered a man and a woman with life-threatening stab wounds.
Both the 46-year-old man and the 43-year-old woman succumbed to their injuries in hospital.
Police say Mathura Chaitram first stabbed his wife, Petty Mahabir-Chaitram, before turning the knife on himself.
