Michelle Dub, Reporter, CTV News Toronto

Michelle Dubé joined the CTV News team in April 2009 as a reporter for CTV NEWS TORONTO, Toronto's # 1 Newscast. She also is a substitute anchor for CTV Toronto's Newscasts.

Michelle has a passion for telling people's stories and covering breaking news. Since joining the CTV News team her stories have been on both local and national newscasts. She reported amidst G20 Summit chaos, from a highway brought to a screeching halt by a super cell snowstorm in Southwestern Ontario, from the red carpet to cover the glitz and glamour at the TIFF, and she's was there to tell the tale of a star struck teenage girl plucked from the crowd by Justin Bieber.

In April 2007, Michelle was invited to join the CHCH News team in Hamilton as a reporter. Michelle was soon anchoring on the weekends, and later took over as co-anchor of the evening newscast, making her one of the youngest news anchors in Canada.

Prior to this, she was in London, Ontario, as student and built up her experience in broadcasting as a newscaster and reporter for AM 980 CFPL, and through appearances on 103.1 Fresh FM's Morning Show and FM 96. She earned a degree from the University of Western Ontario's Media Information and Technoculture program and concurrently received a diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Fanshawe College.

Born in Anaheim, California, Michelle now calls Toronto home. She is bilingual in both French and English.
