TORONTO - All lanes of Highway 427 have reopened after a collision that sent a woman to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The woman was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital this morning after the collision involving her car and two tractor-trailers at Highway 427 and Finch Avenue.
Provincial police say one of the rigs swerved to avoid the initial collision and ended up on the centre median.
The drivers of the two rigs were not injured.
One of the trucks contained hazardous goods and emergency crews were at the scene while it was removed.
