Police have charged a teen with second-degree murder in connection with the slaying of 15-year-old Klayton Wynter.

Emergency crews were called at about 5 p.m. on Saturday after receiving reports of a fight between two groups outside the Bramalea City Centre.

Wynter, who was stabbed, later died in hospital.

A 15-year-old, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with second-degree murder.

The accused is scheduled to appear at a bail hearing in Brampton on Tuesday.
