SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The driver of a double-decker Megabus involved in a fatal accident in suburban Syracuse last year is scheduled to be arraigned on criminal charges.

Prosecutors aren't revealing the specific charges against John Tomaszewski of Yardville, N.J., until his arraignment this morning in Onondaga County Court.

Authorities say Tomaszewski was driving the Philadelphia-to-Toronto bus with 29 people on board when he made a wrong turn off a highway and crashed into a low bridge over the Onondaga Parkway in Salina.

The early morning crash on Sept. 11 killed four passengers.

Police say Tomaszewski was using a personal GPS with an audio feature and may have been distracted.

They say about 10 signs warn trucks of the low bridge, some with flashing yellow lights.
