Two men were charged on Friday in connection to the death of a man beaten outside a Mississauga restaurant.

But Peel Regional Police say they are still looking for two more suspects, who are believed to have fled to India.

"We have arrested two parties and investigators are still looking for two more possible suspects," Const. George Tudos said on Friday. "Investigators believe that the two suspects they are looking for have fled the country and are in the original country they came from, which is India."

Nitish Khanna, 19, was beaten with a golf club in the parking lot of Tasty Bite restaurant on Torbram Road, near Derry Road East, early Monday morning.

A friend told reporters that Khanna and two friends were attacked after a verbal altercation with another group of men.

Khanna's friends managed to flee the fight without suffering serious injury, but the man was unable to escape and died at the scene.

Harsimran Singh Bal, 19, of Brampton, and Daljinder Sidhu, a 24-year-old Toronto man, have been charged with second-degree murder.

Both suspects appeared in court this week.
