Police have identified the man who died after being assaulted outside a west-end Toronto bar last week.
Police found David Blyth, 30, at 10:20 a.m. Friday behind Rolo's Bar and Grill, located at 1239 Weston Road near Denarda Road, suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to hospital, where he later died.
Blyth was assaulted outside the front door of the bar at about 1 a.m. Friday, police said.
Police have charged Twayne Ruddock, 25, with second-degree murder. He was scheduled to be in court Sunday.

Blyth was Toronto's 28th homicide victim of 2011.
