INNISFIL, Ont. - Police say a woman found dead in a burning house south of Barrie, Ont., last weekend died of stab wounds.

South Simcoe police say the cause of death was determined by an autopsy Tuesday.

Dawn Bailey, 27, shared the home in Innisfil with her parents. No one else was at the home when the fire broke out Sunday morning.

A 27-year-old Bradford man was arrested in Huntsville on Sunday and is charged with first-degree murder, two counts of arson and break and enter.

He is being held in custody pending a video bail hearing Aug. 8.

Police say Bailey and the accused were in a previous relationship.
