A 48-year-old woman is dead after she was pulled from her North York condominium's pool Saturday morning.
Police were called to the building at 65 Spring Garden Ave. near Willowdale and Sheppard Avenues just before 11:30 a.m.
A security guard had found the woman unresponsive in the pool.
Emergency responders worked on the woman, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was using the pool recreationally, and police say she died during an episode of medical distress.
Her identity has not been released, but police confirmed she was a resident of the building.
The coroner is now investigating to determine the exact cause of death.
