NEW TECUMSETH, Ont. - Police continue to investigate a motorcycle crash which killed one man and injured another in Simcoe County.
Two motorcycles were struck by a vehicle on Highway 89 on Saturday afternoon.
Ontario Provincial Police have now identified the 38-year-old motorcycle rider who died as Melvin Mejia from Bramton.
The other bike rider has been identified as 51-year-old Brian Mackenzie from Bondhead.
Mackenzie is in Toronto's Sunnybrook Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say it appears the two motorcycles were in the process of turning off the highway when they were struck from behind by the vehicle.
They have said it's too early in the investigation to know if charges will be laid.
