Police are appealing to the public for more information about a Friday afternoon shooting in East York that left a young man dead.
Bradley Matheson, 19, of Toronto was found in a stairwell inside an apartment building on Eastdale Avenue, near Main Street and Danforth Avenue, shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
Toronto EMS said the teen suffered at least one gunshot and was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination has yet to be scheduled.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are not yet known.
Police haven't said whether there are any persons of interest in the case. Homicide investigators continue to look into the case.
