Toronto police are looking for a suspect after a string of garbage and recycling bins were set on fire on Gerrard Street East.

Between Oct. 15 and Oct. 17, Emergency Services received several calls for fires on Gerrard Street East between Yonge and Sherbourne streets, police said.

On Oct. 15 at 11:40 p.m. two garbage bins and a recycling bin were set on fire, then two days later a dumpster was set alight at 2 a.m.

A recycling bin and a garbage bin were also set on fire on Oct. 17

Police said they are looking for a suspect described as a white male between the ages of 20 to 25.

He is between 5'5" to 5'8" tall with a thin build and medium to long wavy hair. He was wearing dark clothing, a puffy dark vest and a hat or a hoodie.
