ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Niagara region police have made another arrest in a homicide case that's more than three years old.

Police arrested 23-year-old Michael Latham of Welland on Wednesday in connection with the 2008 death of Pierre Repper, a resident of Quebec.

Police say Latham has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder and causing an indignity to a human body.

He is scheduled to appear in St. Catharines court today for a bail hearing.

Niagara police also say that two men previously charged with second-degree murder in Repper's death have had their charges upgraded based on evidence obtained in their continuing investigation.

Twenty-four-year-old Shawn Monger of Welland and Sebastien Hebert of Chateauguay, Que., who were initially charged in June 2010, are now charged with first-degree murder.

Repper's body was found in a bay at the Sir Adam Beck power plant in Niagara Falls in June 2008.

Police say they believe there are members of the public who have information related to the case and are urging them to come forward.
