HAMILTON, Ont. - Hamilton police have made an arrest in a five-year-old murder case.
Scott Patrick Keels of no fixed address has been charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of 47-year-old James Surette.
Surette was found dead on a downtown sidewalk on the night of June 5, 2006.
Police also found a knife in a nearby field and identified it as the murder weapon.
Keels, 34, was arrested in Toronto on Friday.
