TORONTO - The films of Roman Polanski are the focus of a holiday series bound for TIFF Bell Lightbox.

The arthouse theatre, headquarters for the Toronto International Film Festival, says it will celebrate some of Polanski's best-known titles as he prepares to release his much-anticipated farce, "Carnage."

The retrospective includes "Knife in the Water," "Cul-de-sac," "Chinatown," "Repulsion," "The Tenant," "Rosemary's Baby" and "The Ghost Writer."

Polanski's "Carnage" stars Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz, Jodie Foster and John C. Reilly as two pairs of parents who meet to discuss a schoolyard brawl involving their children.

It opens at TIFF Bell Lightbox on Dec. 30.

The TIFF Bell Lightbox tribute "Roman Polanski" runs Dec. 17 to Dec. 25.
