A man who has been featured on America's Most Wanted multiple times was arrested in Toronto Thursday, police confirmed.

Kujtim "Jimmy" Lika, 47, was arrested in Toronto at approximately 9:20 a.m. in the Mt. Pleasant and Eglinton Avenue area, police said.

Lika has been described as a suspected Albanian mob boss who illegally immigrated to the United States.

He was wanted on charges related to organized crime and conspiracy to distribute narcotics, Toronto police said.

Police said his arrest was the result of a joint investigation between the Toronto Police Fugitive Squad and Canada Border Services Agency.

Police believe that Lika entered Canada in August 2009.

He is currently being held in Toronto where authorities will begin extradition proceedings to the United States.

Lika is a former gymnast who gained a reputation as the first major Albanian-American heroin dealer to operate in the U.S. since his illegal immigration, according to authorities.

America's Most Wanted said one of Lika's associates, Myfit Dika, was arrested in Toronto on Jan. 25, 2010.
