Police are looking for a suspect after a teenage boy was found suffering from two stab wounds.

At about 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, Toronto police officers responded to 170 Chalkfarm Drive. Once there, officers discovered a 13-year-old boy suffering from stab wounds to his upper chest and throat area.

The victim was rushed to hospital and treated for his injuries.

Police say the suspect fled the area on foot before officers arrived on the scene.

The suspect is described as:

  • Being approximately 19-years-old;
  • Standing about 5'6" tall with a medium build; and
  • Black with a light complexion.

At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a white T-shirt, black hat and black track pants.
